In May 2001, Illinois Tool Works (ITW) acquired Diagraph with the goal of improving on the original vision of the founders in 1893. As part of that goal Diagraph was split into 3 distinct companies in order to better service its core customers. Diagraph Labeling, located in Weldon Springs, Missouri sells and services labeling equipment, service and supplies, Diagraph Coding & Marking, also located in Weldon Springs, Missouri focuses on large & small character inkjet equipment, service and supplies. Our company, Diagraph Marking & Stenciling Products (MSP) focus on the more traditional methods of marking your products, such as, industrial marking pens, electric & hand operated stencil cutting machines and supplies, roll coders, cartridges, inks and shipping supplies.

During 2002, in a continued effort to provide superior quality products and to better service our customers a new 66,000 square foot office and manufacturing facility was constructed in Marion, Illinois.

In June 2002 Ideal Stencil Machine Company in Belleville, Illinois was purchased by ITW and merged into Diagraph MSP. The acquisition was part of the company's strategic plan to provide the highest quality products and has firmly established Diagraph MSP as a leading world supplier of marking and stenciling products.
