1545: 1291
This ink was developed as an alternative to 1290 and has very similar properties. It was developed to be methanol and phenol free to improve the health and safety profile of the ink. This ink shows a permanent colour change from black to blue when exposed to typical sterilisation conditions, coding and marking metal food cans and closures and retortable plastics. It is also a robust ink for other difficult coding applications, where a coating is present and a colour change is not required
